After an intense selection process, Zoe emerged victorious, securing her spot as a contender among thousands of applicants. Zoe, who has been a part of West Midlands Ambulance Service since 2018, shared her excitement, stating, “I wanted to follow in my dad’s footsteps as he applied to take part in the original Gladiators in 1998, and the whole experience was amazing.”

The filming, set against the backdrop of thousands of cheering spectators, proved to be a thrilling challenge for Zoe. She participated in several games, where her strength and speed were put to the test against the formidable Gladiators. Undoubtedly, Zoe’s journey promises to be both entertaining and inspiring.

Zoe’s career trajectory within the medical field adds an extra layer to her Gladiators story. Starting as a paramedic in Staffordshire, she later transitioned to West Midlands Ambulance Service’s Emergency Operations Centres in the Black Country, where she became an integral part of the Clinical Validation Team. This team plays a crucial role in triaging category 2, 3, and 4 calls, ensuring that patients receive the right care at the right time for their medical needs.
